JORD Wood Watch Review

I’m loving the wood trend right now and have always been a big fan of using wood in my DIY projects. So, when I was asked to review one of JORD’s luxury wood watches, I was excited to jump on board.

It’s always around this time of year that I seem to drift into a gift buying / giving frenzy. With my birthday and the holidays coming up (and about a million other social events), I’m always on the lookout for that ‘perfect present’.

So when I scouted the Zebrawood & Navy ($189 USD) timepiece as part of the Frankie Series by JORD, I knew that it would make a special gift for Tarq. Because Tarq’s style is very classic, it was the minimalist design of this men’s watch that initially caught my attention.

When the watch arrived, I removed it from its handcrafted packaging (which you should know is pretty much a gift in itself) and was overwhelmed by that fresh wood smell. Ohh soo good!

Apart from the novelty that this unique watch is made from wood, which you have got to admit is pretty damn cool with its sustainability factor. It actually looks very sophisticated and would complement any outfit thanks to the neutral tones of the zebrawood grain and calming navy face.

To be honest, at first I was a little jealous that I had decided to gift the watch but then I remembered it was unisex! Score!

The streamline design of the wood watch, with a slim band and larger face means that it looks great on both men and women.

Knowing that I could easily borrow the watch every now and again was enough that I didn’t change my mind about giving it to Tarq. BUT, I did call dibs on the box.
